	Waterfalls, Monkeys and Traditional Crafts
	A 2 day waterfall tour of Ghana, visiting 2 of the most beautiful falls in the highlands of the Volta region, including Ghana's tallest waterfalls, Wli Falls. Also incudes a visit to a monkey sanctuary, a Kente weaving village, the Volta River, and sites of traditional crafts.

	Pick-up	Morning pick-up in an air-conditioned vehicle: Accra location of your choice.
	Day 1	Leave metro Accra through the Akwapim Range towards the Volta River.
	Wli	Visit the Aburi craft market to shop for carvings and other interesting crafts.
		Continue to a bead making workshop along the road, witness the skills involved
	Estimated	in turning crushed glass into a colourful traditional Ghana beads.
	Drive time	Tour the nearby Kente weaving village of Tafi Abuipe for Ewe-style Kente cloth.
	5½ hours	Visit a monkey sanctuary at Tafi Atome for fun with habituated Mona monkeys.
		Continue through the scenic highlands area to reach your rural guesthouse.
		Overnight at a budget hotel near Wli Falls.
		Wli Falls, Tagbo Falls, Kpando Pottery, Volta River
	Drop-Off	Birds and butterflies on a early hike to Wli Falls, Ghana's tallest waterfall.
	Day 2	Optional strenuous climb to West Africa's tallest peak, Mt Afadjato (extra fee).
	Accra	Explore the highland village of Liate Wote and hike to the lush Tagbo Falls.
		Kpando Pottery to view the distinctive and striking contemporary African ceramics.
	Estimated	Continue to the Volta River and canoe ride with a local (motor boat is extra fee).
	Drive time	Walk across the only steel arch bridge in Ghana, beautiful view of the water below.
	4½ hours	Pass the Shai Hills, where baboons may be sighted along the road.
		Enjoy the scenic drive back to Accra.
		Drop at location of your choice in Accra.
