	Day 1	Depart for Kokrobite in an air-conditioned vehicle.
	Kokrobite	Refresh and relax. Neighborhood or Accra city orientation as time permits.
		Overnight at a 3 star beach resort in Kokrobite.
		Busua Beach, Fort Metal Cross
		Coastal drive to Busua, a wide beach that is one of Ghana's most beautiful.
	Day 2	Afternoon beach hike or bike to Fort Metal Cross in Dixcove.
	Beyin	Enjoy the beach or pool. Surfing rentals and lessons are available for extra fee.
	8 hours	Overnight at an upscale resort in Beyin.
		Nzulezu Stilt Village, Fort Apollonia, Beach Afternoon
		Early depart for the beach village of Beyin, near the western border of Ghana.
	Day 3	Canoe ride through the Amansuri wetlands to the stilt village of Nzulezu.
	Beyin	Tour Fort Apollonia, the westernmost Colonial era fort in Ghana. Beach afternoon.
		Overnight at an upscale resort in Beyin.
		Cape Coast Castle, Beach Afternoon
		Mid-morning departure, driving along the coast to the historic town of Cape Coast.
	Day 4	Tour the U.N. World Heritage Site and former slave dungeon of Cape Coast Castle.
	Elmina	Continue to your beach resort in Elmina for a relaxed beach afternoon.
	6 hours	Overnight at a 3-star beach resort in Elmina.
		Kakum National Park, Crocodiles, Central Elmina, Culture Performance
		Early morning departure for West Africa's highest rain forest canopy walkway.
	Day 5	Crocodile ponds and weaver bird community at Hans Botel. Stingless bee facility.
	Elmina	Fishing lagoon and hilltop Ft. San Jago in Elmina. Special culture performance.
		Overnight at a 3-star beach resort in Elmina.
		Traditional Glass Beads, Volta River
		Depart towards the Volta River, turning inland after reaching suburban Accra.
	Day 6	Visit a glass bead workshop near the Volta River to watch this interesting handcraft.
	Atimpoku	Enjoy your perfect resort on the Volta River. Motorboat to the Akosombo dam.
	5½ hours	Overnight at a luxury resort on the Volta River.
		Boti Falls, Short Hike, Akaa Falls
		Scenic drive to seasonal Boti Falls. 250 concrete steps to the bottom of the falls.
	Day 7	Short 5 minute walk or optional 45 minute moderate forest hike to Umbrella Rock.
	Atimpoku	Also visit the nearby Akaa Falls before returning to the Volta River.
	3½ hours	Overnight at a luxury resort on the Volta River.
		Volta River, Aburi Gardens, Craft Market, Accra City, Departure
	Departure	Depart for Accra at a convenient time, visiting sites along the way as time permits.
	Day 8	Optionally tour Aburi Botanical Gardens and/or a carving craft market on the return.
		Spend time at lively Labadi Beach in Accra or have a tour of the city for extra fee.
