	Day 1	Birding at Achimota Forest reveals sunbirds, hornbills, and vibrant forest species.
	Accra	Drop-off at your hotel to refresh and relax for the days ahead.
		Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Tesano.
		Legon Botanical Gardens, Aburi Craft Market, Aburi Gardens
		Morning birding at Legon Botanical Gardens, with a nesting population of egrets.
	Day 2	Enjoy the scenic depart for the Akwapim Range stopping at the Aburi craft market.
	Kyebi	Spot colorful birds and butterflies while exploring the serene beauty of Aburi Gardens.
	2 hours	Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Kyebi.
		Full Day Atewa Birding, Drive to Kumasi
		Early morning depart for the Atewa Forest, a Globally Significant Biodiversity Area.
	Day 3	Over 200 species of birds and over 400 species of butterflies have been recorded
	Ejisu	Scenic drive to your hotel in Kumasi arriving before dark.
	3 hours	Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Ejisu.
		Bobiri Butterfly Sanctuary, Lake Bosomtwe
		Morning hike at the Bobiri forest reserve and butterfly sanctuary.
	Day 4	Continue to Lake Bosomtwe, Africa's largest meteorite impact lake.
	Ejisu	Padua ride on lake with local fisherman or horseback ride on lakeside trail.
		Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Ejisu.
		Full Day at the Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary
		Early-morning at Owabi wildlife sanctuary, Ghana's only inland Ramsar site.
	Day 5	Explore the wetlands, home to thriving birdlife and peaceful forest habitats.
	Ejisu	After several hours of birding expedition, drive back to your hotel to refresh and relax.
		Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Ejisu.
		Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary, Picathartes Expedition, Cape Coast
		Experience Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary with birdwatching, scenic trails, and more!
	Day 6	Visit the nesting site of the yellow headed Picathartes, a most sought after specimen.
	Kakum	Continue to the coastal city of Cape Coast. This will involve some driving after dark.
	5 hours	Overnight at a mid-range hotel near Kakum National Park.
		Forest Canopy Walk, Kakum National Park
		5:30 AM birding from the rainforest canopy walkway before it opens to the public.
	Day 7	Kakum is Ghana's most significant birding park, with over 266 species including
	Kakum	white-breasted guinea fowl, African grey parrot, and nine species of hornbill.
		Overnight at a mid-range hotel near Kakum National Park.
		Kakum National Park, Ankasa Protected Area
		Enjoy a two hour trail hike on the forest floor, where you will see birds,
	Day 8	utterflies and perhaps catch a glimpse of the forest's secretive mammals.
	Ankasa	Embark on a long drive to Ankasa Game Reserve arriving for evening birding.
	5 hours	Overnight at a bed & breakfast facility in the forest.
		Full Day Birding at Ankasa Protected Area
		Early morning hike at Ankasa, which has Ghana's largest concentration
	Day 9	of biodiversity. Focus on area around the Ankasa River and the Nini River.
	Ankasa	Begin our search for White-bellied, Shining-Blue, and Blue-breasted Kingfishers.
		Overnight at a bed & breakfast facility in the forest.
		Amansuri Wetlands, Nzulezu Stilt Village, Fort Apollonia, Elmina
		Early morning canoe ride along the Amansuri River, Ghana largest swamp forest.
	Day 10	Many species, including Kingfishers, are found in this unique environment.
	Elmina	Visit Fort Apollonia, and continue drive to Elmina stopping at a fishing village.
	3¾ hours	Overnight at a 3-star beach resort in Elmina.
		Cape Coast Castle, Winneba, Densu River, Airport Drop - Off
	Departure	Tour the U.N. World Heritage Site and former slave dungeon of Cape Coast castle.
	Day 11	Drive back to Accra stopping at the Winneba lagoon and Densu Delta
		which offer sites of migratory birds and waterfowl. Continue to the airport.
	4½ hours	Safe delivery to airport 2 hours before your evening flight.
