ArrivalTransit to Accra airport for flight to Tamale (or begin with a pick-up in Tamale).
Day 1Tour a Shea Butter processing center and a leather tannery to see local skills.
TamaleVisit cloth weavers, the Tamale crafts market, and an artist-run gallery.
Overnight at a deluxe hotel in Tamale.
Zayaa Mosque, Rice Processing, Tongo Shrines
Mid-morning depart north to the unique Zayaa mud castle mosque at Wulugu.
Day 2Meet the women workers at a locally grown rice processing center.
BolgatangaVisit sacred Tenzug, the Ba'ar Tonna'ab Ya'nee compound and shrines.
2½ hoursOvernight at a deluxe hotel in Bolgatanga.
Crocodiles, Pia Palace, Slave Camp, Basilica, Arts Village
Depart for Paga to visit the sacred crocodile ponds and the Paga Pia's palace.
Day 3Tour the former slave camp at Pikworo and the mud brick cathedral at Navrongo.
BolgatangaExplore painted adobe structures at Sirigu women's art and pottery village.
Overnight at a deluxe hotel in Bolgatanga.

DepartureShop for hand-woven baskets before traveling to the slave camp at Saakpuli.
Day 4Sacred Baobab Tree where slaves were chained, and a mini museum of artifacts.
Northern Ghana drumming and dance by the Youth Home Cultural Group.
Return flight to Accra and transit to your drop-off (or drop in Tamale)..
