Safety First

Easy Track Ghana is committed to the safety and well-being of our guests, as well as ensuring that travelers to Ghana are able to fully enjoy their visits.

We are using a flexible "tour bubble" concept. While at all times remaining within the Covid protocols in force in Ghana, you may specify the level of Covid-cautiousness for your tour party during the planning stages of your tour.

  • Tour Bubble
    • A "tour bubble" may be a Solo traveler, a small Couple/Family/Friends tour, or a group from one university/business/NGO/Agent/etc.
    • You will not be seated next to a stranger nor allow outside persons enter the bubble.
    • You will remain with your tour party, including Easy Track Ghana staff, as you travel.
    • You will visit the same sites and travel together as one unit.
    • All members of your tour bubble will operate at the same level of pre-agreed Covid-cautiousness (see below).
  • Covid-Cautiousness Level
    • Because Easy Track Ghana creates private, tailor-made tours, we have devised a Covid-Cautiousness Level that your tour bubble must specify.
    • This must be agreed to before the tour begins, and followed strictly unless amended by a unanimous decision by everyone in the tour bubble.
    • When requesting a tour, you will be asked to specify various items of Covid-cautiousness for your tour bubble (sample specifications).
    • Let us know how you want to travel!
  • Ghana Requirements
    • All arriving passengers 18 and older must show proof of a full vaccine dosage.
    • You will not be required to undergo temperature checks or additional testing while on tour. However, some visited destinations may do a quick temperature scan before entry is permitted.
    • Masks are no longer required at any venue.
    • All visited tourist destinations, restaurants, shops and hotels will have hand sanitization stations at their entrance. These must be used.
    • Hotels and restaurants are required to be operating with enhanced hygiene protocols as defined by the Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture. Please Note:
      • Establishments that fully enforce this level of hygiene will generally be higher-end (more expensive).
      • Small establishments, budget guesthouses, rural lodgings and local restaurants may not strictly enforce all requirements.
      • We will do our best to ensure you are eating and lodging safely. Note that if you have requested a low-cost tour, realize that you will be responsible for the costs involved in any upgrades if you find the implementation of the “enhanced hygiene” unacceptable.
  • Easy Track Ghana Will Ensure
    • Provide hand sanitizer in your vehicle. We still recommend you have your own sanitizer as needed.
    • Your vehicle will be sanitized with soap and water before each tour day begins. This will include door handles, buttons, seats, headrests and arm rests.
    • Our guides are aware of the locations of all regional hospitals that have been designated emergency medical treatment centers.
    • 100% refund for Covid-related cancellation.
    • No rescheduling fees.
  • You Must
    • Immediately notify your guide if you feel the onset of any Covid symptoms.
    • Engage in proper hand sanitizing throughout the tour.
    • Notify your guide if you are uncomfortable in any environment.
    • Adhere at all times to the requirements of any place visited while on tour.
    • Adhere at all times to the Covid-Cautiousness Level unanimously agreed to by your tour bubble.

Tour Prices

Unfortunately, the cost of travel to Ghana will probably be higher when international travel resumes. This is due to increased expenses of sanitization and health checks, as well as disruptions in the supply chain that could persist.

  • As noted, there is a significant fee for the Covid-19 PCR test done at the Ghana airport upon arrival. The level of Covid-cautiousness requested for your tour bubble will also impact costs.
  • Airlines have already indicated that the cost of flights will face some serious upward pressure. Certainly though, there will be deals to be found as airlines try to reopen their routes into Ghana.
  • Fuel has now risen significantly above the pre-Covid price due to disruptions in the global supply chain.
  • The cost of food in Ghana has risen noticably. Expect higher costs at restaurants, hotels and even street vendors - especially for imported food and beverages.
  • While limited number of hotels in Ghana are offering discounted rates, it appears that many hotels have had to noticeably increase prices.
  • We will do our best to keep our own costs low and make you the best offer possible.

We have upcoming tour bubbles occurring, so keep planning your travel to Ghana. We are ready to be your hosts!
