Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Accra Arrival
- Meet your arriving flight at Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
- Safe transport to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle.
- Refresh and relax. Neighborhood or Accra city orientation as time permits.
- Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Tesano.

Day 2
Accra City Tour
- Meet your guide at 8:30 AM and depart on guided tour of Accra.
- Visit to Kwame Nkrumah Monument, Independence Square, Makola Market, historic Jamestown, W.E.B. Du Bois Center, fashionable Oxford Street in Osu.
- Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Tesano.

Day 3
Flight to Tamale, Ancient Mosque, Mole National Park
- African World Air flight to Tamale from Kotoka International airport in Accra.
- Meet guide in Tamale at 9:30 AM. Visit the mud-and-stick mosque at Larabanga.
- Afternoon safari walk at Mole National Park (15:30 to 17:30).
- Overnight at a budget lodge in Mole National Park.
Day 4
Mole National Park, Cultural Performance
- Morning walking safari at Mole National Park. (half or full day driving safari is extra).
- Experience a special culture performance at the nearby Mognori village.
- Afternoon safari drive with the elephants at Mole National Park.
- Overnight at a budget lodge in Mole National Park.
Day 5
Mole National Park, Kintampo Falls, Monkey Sanctuary
- Morning game viewing at Mole National Park (6:30 to 7:30).
- Quickly depart towards Kumasi, stopping along the way at the refreshing Kintampo Falls.
- Late afternoon fun with the monkeys at Boabeng-Fiema before continuing to Kumasi.
- Overnight at an upscale hotel in central Kumasi.
Day 6
National Cultural Center, Manhyia Palace, Kejetia Market
- Morning visit the National Cultural Center, one of Ghana's best museums.
- Home of the Ashanti King, Manhyia Palace, and the Komfo Anokye Sword.
- Shopping experience at West Africa's largest outdoor market, the vast Kejetia Market.
- Overnight at an upscale hotel in central Kumasi.
Day 7
Ashanti Craft Villages, Healing Shrine, Butterfly Sanctuary
- Morning depart to visit craft villages around Kumasi showcasing traditional crafts: Kente cloth weaving, Adinkra cloth stamping, wood carving. Visit a healing shrine.
- Short hike in the beautiful forest of the Bobiri Butterfly Sanctuary.
- Overnight at an upscale hotel in central Kumasi.
Day 8
The Slave River, Cape Coast Castle, Central Elmina, Beach
- Morning depart for the former slave market and cemetery at Assin Manso.
- Tour the U.N. World Heritage Site and former slave dungeon of Cape Coast castle.
- Explore the hilltop Ft. San Jago and fishing lagoon in central Elmina.
- Overnight at a 3-star beach resort in Elmina.
Day 9
Kakum National Park, Crocodiles, Birds & Bees, Beach, Culture Performance
- Morning visit to West Africa's highest rain forest canopy walkway.
- Crocodile ponds and weaver bird community at Hans Botel. Stingless bee facility.
- Relax poolside or at the beach. Culture performance of drumming and dance.
- Overnight at a 3-star beach resort in Elmina.
Day 10
Abandze Beach, Ft. Amsterdam, Last Minute Shopping, Departure
- Departure for Accra, visiting scenic Abandze Beach below Ft. Amsterdam.
- Last minute shopping at the Tetteh Quarshie craft market or other venue.
- Visit a typical family compound home. Traditional blessing for safe journey.
- Safe delivery to airport 2 hours before your evening flight.
