	Exciting day in the Akwapim Range above Accra. First visit a craft market and the Aburi Botanical Gardens before being received at the palace of a village chief for a private audience. You will greet the chief, witness the pouring of libations and a traditional blessing, and be entertained at a private Durbar of chiefs with plenty of drumming and dancing.

	Day Trip	Depart for the Aburi craft market where local carvings are plentiful.
		Aburi Botanical Gardens for a walk among our many plants and trees.
		Continue on a scenic drive through highland villages of the Akwapim Range.
		Be received at the palace of the paramount chief of 17 surrounding highland villages.
		Private durbar of chiefs with drumming and dancing that tells the local history.
		Greet the chief and witness the pouring of libations as an offering to ancestors.
		Return to Accra. Beautiful view of the Accra plains when descending the highlands.
