Complete Personalized Tours

Tell us what type of holiday you want. We provide you with a native guide, a detailed itinerary, transportation and make your reservations for as much of Ghana as you want to see.
    ● Personally work with you online prior to your arrival.
    ● Provide travel proposal, and modify to your approval.
    ● Schedule and reserve accommodations, sights, and experiences.
    ● Travel with your native guide at your convenience.
    ● One price includes all except meals and public transit.
 

Fee Schedule – a la carte
When not booking a complete tour, select just the services you need at the prices listed below. These are the costs that go into a tour proposal.

Tour Planning
Want us to help you plan when and where to visit and make your lodging arrangements? We can answer questions, prepare a custom itinerary detailing your transit and stops along the way, and arrange your accommodations. A tour preparation fee is assessed depending upon the amount of work involved, with a $50 minimum requested.

Airport Meet & Greet
Luggage porting, refreshments and safe delivery to your hotel in an private air conditioned vehicle.
        $25 for Accra location
        ● Additional charges for location outside Accra
        ● Free with our ‘One Extra Bag’ program

Guide Services
It is expected that you will provide transportation and meals for you and your guide. You must also provide for accommodations when traveling, either sharing your room (recommended), or obtaining a budget room for your guide.
        $30 per guide, for afternoon/evening tour of Accra
        $35 per guide, for full 24-hour day
        $230 per guide, per week - first week
        $210 per guide, per week - additional weeks

Hotel Accommodations
We have selected various hotels for value, location and privacy, and can provide you with options to choose from. The amounts listed below are approximate, and vary depending on exact location and time of year. We list this information to give you an idea of what to expect. You can pay these costs out-of-pocket directly to the hotel, or we can reserve and add the accommodation costs when you book a tour.
    Accra
        $55 budget per night, approximate
        $90 mid-range per night, approximate
        $175 upscale per night, approximate
        $225+ luxury per night, approximate
    Other areas
        $30 budget per night, approximate

Home Stay
Stay at the house of a family in either an urban or rural environment. Or both! This is an intimate view of African life. Have no fear, as your comfort is our utmost concern.
    Accra
        $30 per night
        $180 per week
    Volta or Ashanti village
        $20 per night
        $130 per week

Long Term Rental
Budget rentals, when available, are available for around $30 per day when reserved for two weeks or longer. Suburban executive houses start at around $125/day, or $650 per month.

Other Services
    ● Phone Service
        $5 for your own Ghana phone number
        $15 for loan phone to use in Ghana
            ($100 deposit required, held until phone returned)
    ● Modem Service
        $20 for loan wireless modem to use in Ghana
            ($150 deposit required, held until modem returned)
    ● Investigative Services
        $70 per arranged meeting, in Accra/Tema
    ● Business Center
        $10 per hour + supplies, in Accra/Tema
    ● Interpretation Services
        Cost determined on a per job basis



Payments
When requesting a booking, a schedule of requested services will be presented to you for your approval or modification. Upon your acceptance, you will be sent an email invoice and can make payments via:
    ● Paypal
    ● Credit Card (via Paypal)
    ● Wire Transfer

For PayPal payments, the 4% commission that PayPal imposes on us for receiving payments. This amount is included in the costs of your tour. Arrange for making a cash payment in Ghana and we will pass along the savings in money transfer fees, resulting in a lower cost for you.

Wire transfers can be made directly into our account, or via a money transfer service, such as MoneyGram or Western Union. An economical transfer method from the UK is the African Liberty Card, which can be purchased in the UK.

We require a payment of
    25% at booking
    50% 2 weeks prior to arrival
    25% before arrival or upon arrival

Flexibility is a key to life in Africa, and we are very flexible with any plans that have been booked. Funds can be deposited easily from any internet café for additional services you may want to utilize.

By paying with a credit card, you are safe from fraud or loss of cash because you may dispute any charge where you feel you did not receive what you purchased. You are also relieved from negotiating with your guide. The only cash you should give your guide or home stay family is any discretionary tip for superior service.
